Short Film
Titled 'The boy who wanted to be a lion', this short film is about a deaf boy who didn't seem to have a connection with his parents or friends, but got inspired by the lion at the zoo and wanted to become one. With his mother's help, a lion costume was created and he got too carried away with looking and behaving like a lion.
The film, on the whole, is talking about identity and it relates to my studio section because they represent the different identities of the two artists. It also shows that the creations of the individuals contribute to their identities, in terms of who they are and what they do.
The colours were also used in a thoughtful way in instances such as only the focus is coloured while the other parts were yellow and this represents emphasis and brings attention to the main focus of the scene.
